Rather be surfing? Maybe not...

While you've been busy plumbing, one of your English colleagues has been battling pipes of a different kind.

Andrew Cotton from Devon may have surfed the largest wave ever.

Check out this amazing youtube video of the 34 year old father of two taking on the monster wave off the coast of Nazaré, Portugal in February.

 

 

 

Cotton has been nominated for the world record which is currently held by Garrett McNamara who successfully surfed a 78ft wave off Nazaré in November 2011.
