Plumbing is well known as a high risk industry, and there has been a concerted effort to address workplace safety.
Master Plumbers Australia have collaborated with Pro-Visual Publishing to distribute this year’s edition of the Plumbing Industry Guide to Safety.
The guide is distributed for free throughout Australia and is designed to help plumbers meet their legal Work Health and Safety requirements.
Recently, there has been a number of serious and fatal incidents in relation to excavation work. WorkCover has issued workers and businesses within the plumbing industry with safety warnings.
The Plumbing Industry Guide to Safety highlights safety responsibilities of those involved in excavation work. Providing workers with workplace safety information helps to ensure plumbers return home safely at the end of each working day.
